The end of the snow!

On Thursday we saw the last of the snow as it rained and rained and rained! Although we were pleased about this, I was not pleased the next day because I was setr my whole technology project as homework: to successfully applique a big purple bow to the front of a t-shirt. Easy right? not with our tempremental machine! But today at half five this evening mum and I finished my t-shirt, I pulled out the tacking and took loads of photos of it! First of all I took them of it flat then of it on YS to give it a shape to be on. I will post some of the pictures on my blog asap! Although it stressed me out a bit, I enjoyed designing and making my project because I like doing that sort of thing! I have sketchbooks filled with designs of dresses, unfortunately I rarely do anything about them but I hope to in the future! Thats all for now as I need to catch up on some sleep! x

Snow and illness

Firstly, sorry for abandoning you for so long! Secondly it has been snowing! (again) since the snow before christmas we have been recovering and then all of a sudden we have been hit again with much more snow. Due to the snow and the cold, we have had one of our rabbits die. Champagne died in the night after being in the warm all day since mum found him in mis house. He was extremely cold and we couldnt warm him up enough and he wouldnt eat or drink. The rest of the rabbits are well but a bit cold!
The snow has caused many schools to close but unfortunately not mine! - not that I have been there since it opened earlier this week due to illness. I havent even left the house so I now know all the words of every song on my ipod. It seem that that is all I have been doing this week - coughing and nodding along to my music. I am hoping to recover before it stops snowing as I would quite like to be able to play in it!

New toy!

Christmas was great this year, we all got what we wanted and were left very happy and stuffed full of christmas dinner. I have been ill with a bad cough from the snow but I am getting better slowly.
Since christmas we have just been relaxing, a few people have come over but we have mostly been just using our new stuff. I have been listening to my new CD and we have both been playing on our new DS games.
As a sort of late christmas present, mum and dad bought us a Wii and it arrived today so we have been playing tennis, bowling, mario kart and more most of the day.
I sit here on the laptop watching YS play baseball and dad sit tending to the fire while watching her.
Tomorrow we haveing some friends over to celebrate new year! The Wii will be used heavily I expect!

sorry for abandoning you!

I am so sorry! I wanted to start a new blog but I didnt like it once I had made it so now I am back! Just to warn you, this post is gonna be a long one because I havent written since the 5th of September!
Since then I have gone through nearly a whole term of year 9, joined the school council, helped the Anti Bullying Council relaunch and taken part in many friday afternoons at french club! I am also still a sports prefect. I have been notified that I am on the gifted and talented list and am going on a trip specially for those who are gifted and talented to Cambridge University on tuesday! I also take part in afterschool classes for the gifted and talented.
So far this year at school I have created a 'jitterbug' began work on my t-shirt in textiled, read 'private peaceful' in english, done alot of maths and science, done half of a term of trampolining and have began to play rugby, and a lot more work that I havent mentioned.
I have recently been suffering with an enflamed tendon in my left arm meaning that I am excluded from playing rugby and lifting all things heavy.
We havent put up our christmas decorations yet but are planning to do so soon, after we have redecorated the front room.
All of the bunnies are well and so is the cat. The chickens are well enough to chase me through the muddy garden beaks at the ready! None of the rabbits are expecting kittens at the moment so they should all have a peaceful christmas with no kittens to worry about. I am hoping that some of them will see their first snow but if this happens, I am worried for Champagne, who lives on the ground and would therefore become snowed on!
I would tell you how sucessful my hunt for christmas presents around the house has been but cannot incas mum reads this!

My birthday soon

It is my birthday tomorrow and I am very excited!
Last night YS and I slept in the motorhome and we are planning to do the same again tonight! I have got tomorrow all planned out in my head! Get up, try to wake up YS, rush up to the house and open prezzies, not sure wether I will be dressed or not by then! We will go downstairs and have breakfast before uploading music onto my Ipod Shuffle that I will be getting for my birthday! We will be getting ready for our trip to the cinema and from therefore onwards I am unsure but excited!
Hopefully all will go well and I will tell you more later!
