New toy!

Christmas was great this year, we all got what we wanted and were left very happy and stuffed full of christmas dinner. I have been ill with a bad cough from the snow but I am getting better slowly.
Since christmas we have just been relaxing, a few people have come over but we have mostly been just using our new stuff. I have been listening to my new CD and we have both been playing on our new DS games.
As a sort of late christmas present, mum and dad bought us a Wii and it arrived today so we have been playing tennis, bowling, mario kart and more most of the day.
I sit here on the laptop watching YS play baseball and dad sit tending to the fire while watching her.
Tomorrow we haveing some friends over to celebrate new year! The Wii will be used heavily I expect!

sorry for abandoning you!

I am so sorry! I wanted to start a new blog but I didnt like it once I had made it so now I am back! Just to warn you, this post is gonna be a long one because I havent written since the 5th of September!
Since then I have gone through nearly a whole term of year 9, joined the school council, helped the Anti Bullying Council relaunch and taken part in many friday afternoons at french club! I am also still a sports prefect. I have been notified that I am on the gifted and talented list and am going on a trip specially for those who are gifted and talented to Cambridge University on tuesday! I also take part in afterschool classes for the gifted and talented.
So far this year at school I have created a 'jitterbug' began work on my t-shirt in textiled, read 'private peaceful' in english, done alot of maths and science, done half of a term of trampolining and have began to play rugby, and a lot more work that I havent mentioned.
I have recently been suffering with an enflamed tendon in my left arm meaning that I am excluded from playing rugby and lifting all things heavy.
We havent put up our christmas decorations yet but are planning to do so soon, after we have redecorated the front room.
All of the bunnies are well and so is the cat. The chickens are well enough to chase me through the muddy garden beaks at the ready! None of the rabbits are expecting kittens at the moment so they should all have a peaceful christmas with no kittens to worry about. I am hoping that some of them will see their first snow but if this happens, I am worried for Champagne, who lives on the ground and would therefore become snowed on!
I would tell you how sucessful my hunt for christmas presents around the house has been but cannot incas mum reads this!

My birthday soon

It is my birthday tomorrow and I am very excited!
Last night YS and I slept in the motorhome and we are planning to do the same again tonight! I have got tomorrow all planned out in my head! Get up, try to wake up YS, rush up to the house and open prezzies, not sure wether I will be dressed or not by then! We will go downstairs and have breakfast before uploading music onto my Ipod Shuffle that I will be getting for my birthday! We will be getting ready for our trip to the cinema and from therefore onwards I am unsure but excited!

Hunstanton!

Today after going to church and doing some housework in the morning we decided to have a day out at hunstanton. We unfortunately chose the wrong day for it. We got to Hunstanton and it was jam packed so we carried on until we reached Wells, that was packed aswell so we returned to Hunstanton where we parked the motorhome and went and had fish and chips. On the way home I fell half asleep and managed to fall halfway under the table in the motorhome and woke up in a most uncomfortable position!
Tommorrow I have to go for a blood test! This is because last time the woman tried and failed twice to take my blood and so this time I acctually get to have a nurse do it in the hope that she has more experience with it! I am also having my hair cut short as I believe it to be too long and then go to band to play my cornet. So tommorrow may infact be as busy as today!
It is my birthday soon and I am very very very very very very very very very very excited as I am taking one of my friends to the cinema to see 'the proposal' as I believe it to be very funny from what I can see in the adverts. I am also getting some great presents!

A busy day

Today was very busy but I enjoyed it all.
First of all when I got up soon after I was ready I went to play with Theo. Later on we were asked to help with preparations for the bbq/picnic that was to happen later on on the field. After taking tables chairs and food to the field form various different houses (because we are the oldest children and therefore more suited to the work) we stopped to play on my trampoline and then my computer.
We then actually went to the picnic. After about half and hour we went back to his house and played on the trampoline before returning to play rounders. It was quite a quick game and unfortuantely our team lost!
We then left everybody else on the field and returned to my house where we sat on the sofa playing on the laptop and watching television. When he had to go home Mum told me that tomorrow at church there is no minister and that we will all be taking the service. I have therefore writter a prayer for the occasion and will be reading it out tomorrow at church.
After church I might play again but I doubt it as I am being picked up after lunch by my friend and we are going to the cinema to see the new Harry Potter film. After the film we will be giong to Macdonalds before she returns me home. We are doing this because it is her birthday. My birthday is coming up soon and I hope to do almost the same thing but possibly a different film.

More chickens and rabbits

Yesterday we went to a rabbit auction and sold ten of our rabbits. We managed to aquire a male rabbit called Guiness. We did so because poor Nuff is retiring form his position as breeding male because of his age and is now just a pet along with Rosie. Guiness is to take over Nuffs job because he is younger. We chose him especially because he is a pure dutch male so most of his offspring will be pure dutch except when he is mated with the giant albino lop!
Also, yesterday evening I was invited out by Theo (my friend). We went with his dad to Husnstanton beach and had fish and chips before walking in the sea as the tide was coming in and then having a hot sugared doughnut.
Today after playing out with Theo we went to collect some eggs from a chicken breeder, collected six chickens and went shopping.
On Sunday I have been invited to go to the cinema with my friend Sian for her birthday. We are going to see the new Harry Potter film and then giong to Macdonalds. I am excited as I have heard that the film is good and had wanted to go and see it for quite some time now.
For my birthday which is coming up soon I want to go and see the film, the proposal as as far as I can tell from the adverts on the television I believe it to be very funny!

same old same old

I was up quite early this morning and fed the rabbits and was dressed before anyone else. I did pretty much the same as I did yesterday (play with Theo for most of the day). The bunnies are all fine and are hopping like mad!
Today has been quite boring so thats all for now!! Byeeeeeee

Six weeks are here!

I havent posted for ages because I have been so busy during the day. I have been doing sports in the mornings while YS and my friend Theo were doing gymnastics in the gymnasium nearby. When we got home YS has been giong out to play with her friends and I have been playing with Theo. We have built a little machine type thing that I pull behind my bike. That eventually got to heavy for me to pull so we swiched to him wearing rollerskates and a rope connected us and I pulled him along. It was less weight for me to pull and occasionally he put in some effort to lower the force needed. Although none of us are going out tomorrow we are planning to do the same thing and possibly play some more table tennis!
I will try to update this soon but if I dont then sorry!!!

The summer holidays are here!

Although I wasnt there today at school when my friend was talking to me on msn I could almost feel the joy of the fact that the school year is over and that there is six whole weeks ahead of us durin which we can go in to complete hibernation!
I am looking foreward very much to the holidays and what we will do during them.

Scrapbooks and swine flu

While I have been off school all week because of swine flu, I have been watching dvds and doing my scrapbook. I have made many pages but because of my printers lack of ink I havent been able to put in any pictures. I will probably take some photos but I will have to alter them so as not to show any photos of us. They will probably be up soon - I hope!
All bunnies are fine. I missed my presentatin evening at school so mum rang up and they are going to send my award and the photos that i had taken of me for the evening to my home through the post soon!

Swine flu

Many people at YS's school have come down with it aswell as a few at my school. YS and mum have also come down with it and we are hoping for them to get better soon.
It is my presentation evening soon for school and today i had my photograph taken because I am going to get a certificate! As he is the only well one, dad is going to take me.

The weekend has arrived!

This week has flown by so fast!

We have some chicks from the incubator and my rabbit Bubblegum has had eight kittens!!
It's the summer hols soon and I cant wait!!! I've got lots of clubs and things to do and the rest of the time I've got lots of sleeping to do!

A total flop

As you can probably tell from the title, the yard sale went terribly. Only three people turned up and only two of them bought anything. Once it had finished, we packed up and while YS was at a birthday party, mum and I went to the shps to buy some stuff for the barbeque that we are having later.
When YS got home she was a bit hot and bothered so she has gone for a bath now and dad is currently watching songs of praise. Thats all for now!! Will update later.

Rainy days

Today dad and I went to sell some books at a school but it started raining so after the books got wet despite our efforts with the tarpaulin we retreated and came home. My little sister has been at a sleepover last night and has come back quite droopy. She is going out with the same person to a birthday party tommorrow.
While she is out the rest of us are participating in a yard sale with some other families on the village.
I will tell you more about it afterwards.

My meez

Incase you havent noticed I have put my meez on the side bar for you all to look at.

You cant really escape this fact because it has been all over the news today and nobody has stopped taking about it: Michael Jackson has died. I dont really like the modern him. I prefer the old songs and the cute little boy. I obviously wasnt around then seen the videos and heard the music on the radio and television. I was watchin a program about him today and it showed how much he has changed!

RIP baby socks

Yesterday evening one of my bunnies passed away. He died from the snuffles. Although I was very upset, it wasnt a big surprise to me as I have already had one rabbit pass away from this disease. The rabbit that has already passed away from the disease was called George. They may both be gone but we still remember them.
Out five baby rabbits are very well and are zooming around their cage like little rockets! The other white rabbit is tunneling and will soon be at Australia!
There's onle three weeks left of school! Hopefully they wnt seem as long as they should be. For the last lessons of each subject we do something fun ar watch a DVD because there is no point in starting something right before the end of the year! I am very much looking foreward to that!

Half way!!!

I am finally half way through the exams! Just one week to go until it's all over! On monday I have to go on front desk where my friend and I (We got to choose our partners) do all the running around for the office taking notes to people ect. We still have to go to exams but we dont do normal lessons so inbetween taking messages and running around we have to visit tach of our classes as we should be in them and get work to do while we're not busy so we still get some work done! Still got some revision to do so bye for now! BTW all bunnies are fine!

Where has the sun gone???

Today and yesterday have both been rather cold, it makes you wonder just how long ago it was that they said that this summer was going to be the hottest on record. I hope it soon warms up because at school we now have our summer uniform! Down with the shirts and ties and hello polo shirts!!!
All of the bunnies are fine! Must go now, books to read, homework to do, sleep to er sleep?

MORE BABIES!!!

Today after I returned from school, mum had some news for me! My albino lop, Moppy has had five little kittens. They don't look albino because their father is a dutch so they still have black markings. I am still expecting my bubblegum to have some more kittens soon! I'll keep you posted on the bunny developments as they happen!

The exams begin!

I should've sat my first exam today but unfortunately just before class I got a nose bleed and was therefore sat in the medical room bleeding for an hour and about 25 mins. The nurse called mum and she brought me home so I've been doing lots of revision all day! The exam I was supposed to sit was Spanish. I'm not really that fussed about Spanish because I prefer French. I will still have to do the exam though (unfortunately). I will have to go now and sleep! I need my brain in gear for two exams tomorrow (Science and geography). BTW the bunnies are all fine! BYEEE!

Sunny days and holidays

On friday we came home from our holiday in a static caravan near Sheringham. We've been on lots of walks and bike rides!! we've also been shopping and out to lunch and tea and had loads of ice creams!!! When we got home my great uncle was here because he had been tending to all of our animals for us.
Unfortunately, when I go back to school tomorrow I have two weeks of exams to do! Therefore I have been spending loads of time revising. I am only taking a break to write this!
All of the bunnies are fine, two are being mated so more will soon be on their way!!! I have experimented with some ice to try to keep them cool by putting some carrot pieces in the botom of a beaker and pouring cold water over them before freezing. The rabbits love their new carrot pops!!
The only good thing about going back to school is that due to the weather we get to wear summer uniform so it's goodbye to ties and blouses and hello polo shirts!

Baby bunnies and chicks

We have had another litter of rabbits here and another hatching of chicks!! Out of this litter I am only able to claim one of them, as I am going with the theme of alcohol for names I have named my newest bunnie ro'se! I saw the tiny bunnies running around their hutch this morning as they have newly found their legs and that they can run on them, and extremely fast at that! Their poor mother looked a bit flustered trying to keep them all in the same place but they eventually decided to have a rest, unfortunalely for them, it was under the dripping water bottle!
The chicks however are still traiuling after their mother who clucks violently whenever a human comes within a square meter of her hutch!!! The other bunnies are doing well, we mated up two white rabbits with nuff. The first litter that was completely mine was from bubblegum, birth of champagne and martini, they are soon to be sold as they are getting very big but we need to find a buyer first!!!

Baby bunnies

Today for the first time, I got to hold my two baby bunnies (Champagne and Martini).

Mum and YS went to a gymnastics competition today and have rung up to say that YS got a gold medal!!! I have made myself busy playing with a friend from a house near me and entertaining my rabbits. I will soon have to complete my french homework :( Goodbye for now!

Baby bunnies

We have recently had another litter of rabbits, my rabbit Bubblegum had four in the night, two died insantly but two survived. These two are called Champagne and Martini.

After this addition to my bunnie family we now have eight rabbits in total! And soon there will be another addition to this as one of my other rabbits is pregnant!!!!

Wedding!!!

Today we are going to a wedding or a renewal of the vows. The only bad thing is the dress code. They have chosen black and white so it will look more like a funeral than wedding. But before all of that we have to get ready!!! I have the task of getting both my seld and dad ready! That means cutting his hair, washing his hair, feeding him, finding some decent and clean clothes for him and making sure that he does not get them messy!!! I had better go and attend to my task! Snowy hopes!

Today whan I was arriving home from school it started to snow!!!! It had been snowing for quite some time before but it was only then that it started to settle!!! There is to be no more snow tonight but hopefully the snow will stay and the water underneath will freeze leaving it impossible ofr me to attend school!!! This is good but I would be very annoyed when I have spent a very long tome on my science homework and then I would not be able to hand it in!:(

Lemonade scones and sleepovers

Today so far has been quite as this morning we all had a long lie in and only half an hour after we awoke YS was on the doorstep after a sleepover with a friend from around the corner. She left yesterday after hours of 'is it time to go yet?' and 'should I ring them and see if they are ready yet?' and mum and I sat down infront of the computer and found som interesting recepies to try. One of them was for lemonade scones. The recepie is this: 3 cups of flour, 1 cup of lemonade and 1 cup of cream. Mix all in a bowl until dough like. Cut into scone like shapes then bake for 10 mins at 180 degrees C. Once finished we tasted some and surprisingly they were really nice! We are going to make some more later on. Today once YS arrived home I have neem getting on with homework :( and she has been playing with some old toys. Time to go now as I must get on with homework!!! BYE!!!

In the snow

Today both YS's school and mine were closed because of the snow!!! We were invited next door to make snowmen and play in the snow with their little boy. A picture of our snow man is above!

According to the news there is going to be more snow overnight and so far the snow is staying so I maight get another day off tomorrow!!:) The only down side about the snow is the temperature.

Lazy days

Today has so far been spent studying and playing instruments. Mum and YS are at gym so I have the house to myself, apary from Dad but he is neary always sleeping. Dad is now going to work on the garden. I would help but I am terrible at keeping any kind of plant alive. I mangaed to kill a venus fly trap!!! No plant deserves to be under my care. I am better at looking after animals. My bunnies dont seem to be upset with me.
After giving up on the garden Dad is now playing his instrument. Euphonium. I play the cornet in the band in the nearest town. YS also plays cornet but neither her or dad are in the proper band like me, they are still in a learning group but that's good for them. I am also learning to play the piano at school. It was mum's idea but I do enjoy it.
I enjoy listening to music aswell as playing it. Right now I have John Barrowman on the cd player. It's mum's cd because we are both a fan. We love watching Torchwood and are both waiting for the next series. I also like Doctor Who but YS likes it more than I.

Saturday mornings

To day Younger Sister (YS) and mum went to gymnastics while dad and I stayed at home and tried to make ourselves busy. We normally watch a film but today was different for some reason. I think I'm coming down with a cold so prepare the honey and hot lemon. I also spent today doing some homework and stuff for school like that.
Right now I'm watching Demons ready and waiting for casulty. We're going to church tomorrow but unlike usual dad's taking us as mum has the cold that I feel coming on. At our church everyone brings some food and you eat during the service. Mum usually lets us take some of her homemade cookies. She is such a great cook. My favourite home made meal is lasagne!!! YUM.
We go to the local methodist church. It's a little room with enough room for a table of food, semi circle of chairs, space for preacher and some spare space for little kids to play at the end while everyone else is packing up. Not many people come but it means that you know everybody. I'd rather know everybody in a small church than not know anyone in a huge church. Thats all for now BYE!!!

Intro to me

I am a young girl living in the fens with my parents and younger sibling. I go to a school in the nearest town by bus every morning. My mum has a blog on here called 'growing in the fens'. Not to brag or anything but at school I am in all but one of the top sets (only for things we have been sorted for) so I am doing well at school. At home we have loads of pets! 6 rabbits, too many chickens, quail and a cat who doesn't really belong to us but she lives in our garden and we feed her. That's all for now, need to sleep!!!
